A 34-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with 3 robberies at the Central Convenience Store on Avenue Road, Sandown.
Police were called to the store at around 20:30 last night (Monday) after a robbery was carried out. It follows robberies on both the 19th and 27th November.
According to Hampshire Constabulary, it was reported that a male entered the store last night and demanded cash from a member of staff. He left with an undisclosed amount of money. Fortunately nobody was hurt as a result of the incident.
Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the area, which resulted in a 34-year-old man from Sandown being arrested in the town. It is thought the arrest took place near Leed Street.
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in all 3 incidents. He remains in custody at this time.






























































































One could hardly blame the shop assistance staff’s male family and friends from having a few strong words when this low life does it’s few weeks inside.
Well that makes perfect sense!
