A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after a door was damaged at an address in Shanklin earlier this afternoon (Wednesday). Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called just after 14:00 to a disturbance at an address on Orchardleigh Road. At the scene, a door was damaged and a 38-year-old man from Shanklin was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. Island Echo understands a single fire appliance from Shanklin was also called to the scene. The male remains in custody.
