Yarmouth RNLI lifeboat launched at just before 14:00 this afternoon (Tuesday) to assist a motor vessel suffering from electronics failure some 12 miles off the Isle of Wight coast.
Solent Coastguard received a call for help from a 37ft motor vessel located 12 nautical miles South West The Needles.
Once on scene, lifeboat volunteers found that the boat had suffered electronic failure on both of its engines.
A tow was established and the vessel was taken back to Yarmouth Harbour.
