Seems to be an island speciality thesedays, drink or drug driving.
Bang them up.
I was thinking exactly the same. Just imagine how many losers aren’t getting caught? …YET!
Not really, across the UK drink and drug driving have been in steady decline since 1979 (first figures) and Hampshire (and us) have the lowest figures in all counties at just 0.24% of the population. It’s just big news here as there’s so little other crimes.
Theres a trend here somewhere, and I’m not reasonable enough to work it out, its possibly that west Wighters are good at holding their booze, or avoiding detection.
Zero policing in West Wight.
Islandwide you mean, I saw a chap this evening
Smoking on Sandown Pier
So many rules, no one polices them
Vehicles parked on Double yellow lines outside the pier
No Law and Order on this island!
At least Germany has changed law on cannabis ,over 18 legal to have 25g in public and grow 3 plants on window sill. About time we had change here to allow police and Court to focus on real crime, or way we are going every Islander will have a drug conviction in next 5yrs. I’ll be only one without , I’m about 30yrs behind in fashion we’ll meet the latest editions !.
It still wouldn’t allow drug driving though. You can brew your own alcohol but you can’t drink drive.
If you break the law you get what’s coming to you all these drink drivers won’t be laughing when they hit someone and kill them they should get done for murder but only get a couple of years for manslaughter where is the justice #thoughersentancesfordrinkdrivers
Holland has no trouble with Cannabis , a morning stroll to a local Cafe a strong coffee and a Cannabis “Hash Brownie” an experience never forgotton .
