Monday 16th January – Friday 20th January 2023
• Nadine Carol Lilley, 48, of West Street, Godshill pleaded guilty to keeping a vehicle which was unlicensed. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay excise back duty of £86.67 and costs of £40.
• Scott Roper, 34, of Fitzroy Street in Sandown, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was banned from driving for 6 months and fined £469.
Separately, Roper was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle. He was fined a further £519, handed 6 points on his licence and ordered to pay £650 costs with a £99 surcharge.
• Ryan Arthur Edwards, 26, of St Leos Place in Devonport, Devon pleaded guilty to drug driving (Benzolecgonone). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Matthew Dennis Newton, 38, of Long Heath Gardens in Croydon, Surrey admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. The order was revoked and resentenced, with Newton committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months. He was ordered to comply with a 12-month period of rehabilitation activity across 15 days with 100 hours of unpaid work attached. He was also told to pay £60 costs.
• David Tinn, 42, of care of Beatrice Avenue, East Cowes pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 costs with a £42 surcharge.
• Matthew Carpenter, 21, of Medeway, Sandown pleaded guilty to drink driving (111). He was banned from driving for 26 months and made subject to a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Matthew Dyer, 33, of Fortfield Road, Bristol pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was ordered to pay £3,694.97 compensation.
• Astin Tyas, 32, of Salters Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85 with a £48 surcharge.
• Catherine Hartland, 21, of Barton Road, Newport pleaded guilty to common assault. She was handed a 12 month conditional discharge.
Separately, Hartland pleaded guilty to criminal damage. She was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £85 with a £26 surcharge.
• Salvador Chichon, 57, of Sylvan Avenue, East Cowes pleaded guilty to assault by beating. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 compensation, £50 costs and a £48 surcharge.
• Steven Yeo, 25, of Park Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis). He was handed a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £26 surcharge in £20 instalments.
• Mark Osment, 33, of Stephenson Road, Cowes pleaded guilty to drink driving (93). He was banned from driving for 24 months and made subject to a community order for 12 months with 100 hours of unpaid work and 15 rehabilitation days attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.

• Ryan Turley, 31, of Chinchen Close, East Cowes for failing to comply with the requirements of a community order
• Szymon Wrazidlo, 36, of Marina Bay Hotel, Sandown for intentional strangulation, failing to answer court/police bail and failing to surrender to police/court bail.
