Jay Miller’s Circus has confirmed that it will be back in 2024 after another successful Summer on the Isle of Wight.
Over the past 6 weeks, the circus has welcomed thousands of locals and tourists who have enjoyed all the fun and hi-jinks on offer.
Sadly, the circus has now rolled out of town and is en route to Haslemere. However, reassurances have been given that Pepe the Clown and the rest of the gang will return next July – continuing the annual tradition.
Having first opened in Hampshire in March 1987, the circus has been coming to the Island since 1989 and has only missed 1 iteration – the COVID-19 hit summer of 2020.
It has no doubt been a profitable visit to the Island given the bad weather that led to the cancellation of a number of outdoor events.
Taking to social media, the Jay Miller’s team have said:
“Wow, wow, WOW!! What a FABULOUS summer we have had! You have been absolutely INCREDIBLE & we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome back!
“Summer 2023 has been truly amazing & the support from all of you guys hasn’t gone unnoticed”.

Last month Island Echo reported on a visit to the circus by the family of the late Billy Arnold, who gathered to remember Billy with members of the circus team and to hand over a necklace containing some of his ashes. Billy’s ashes will now travel the length and breadth of the country with Jay Miller’s.
