The finalists for the prestigious award have been chosen from the cream of the South East’s tourism businesses by independent judges.
The awards attracted over 120 entries this year and the quality was better than ever, so the judges have had a tough task. They took account of inspection visits along with a combination of web searches, review sites, emails, telephone calls plus all available additional evidence. From the finalists, the judges were looking for all elements of excellence in a business.
The finalists will discover whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze at the Awards Celebration on Thursday 2nd December 2015 at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.
Winners of a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award will be invited to represent the South East in their respective categories at the National VisitEngland Awards in 2016.
Richard Jones, General Manager at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park said:
“We are thrilled to be named as a finalist for these highly sought after awards. This recognition is a testament to the tremendous efforts our staff have contributed during the past year, the considerable financial investment made in the park and the positive feedback we have received from our guests.”
Nigel Smith, Chief Executive of Tourism South East, said:
“It’s been an exceptional year for Beautiful South Award entries and great to see so many from businesses that haven’t previously entered. It is a reminder of the fantastic range and quality of tourism businesses in the South East which are more than a match for any in the UK. Some are truly world class. The judges have again had the unenviable and difficult task of deciding which of these businesses deserve to be recognised as the best of the best.”
