From Friday (1st April) Hovertravel will add two extra crossings to its busy morning commuter timetable.
The new crossings at 08:30 from Ryde and 08:45 from Southsea demonstrate that the hovercraft is still the fastest and most frequent ferry across the Solent.
Loretta Lale, Hovertravel’s Commercial and Marketing Manager has said:
“We have listened to our commuters and regular travellers who told us that these additional services will help them co-ordinate their onward travel arrangements.
“By adding services to our summer timetable we are making sure we continue to support the needs of the local communities both in Portsmouth and on the Isle of Wight.”
