Properties in the Horsebridge Hill area on the outskirts of Newport are without power once again as a result of a network fault.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks engineers are currently investigating the issue which is affecting 10 postcode areas in the PO30 5 region.
Supply was lost at around 22:00 and is not expected to be restored until 02:00 tomorrow morning.
Tonight’s power cut comes just a day after the power was off for around 5 hours when a cable was ‘struck’.
UPDATE – Power has now been restored to all affected customers.
