Gritters will be out across the Isle of Wight from 20:00 tonight (Monday) due to the predicted low temperatures.
Island Roads have taken the decision to treat the road network as a precautionary measure.
Motorists are warned to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
It has been confirmed that 6 gritters will remain operational this winter following the Council’s U-turn on their decision to cut the number of roads treated.
