GKN Aerospace, the largest private employer on the Isle of Wight, is opening its doors at its Falcon Yard facility in East Cowes to allow members of the public, who are interested in apprenticeships, aircraft fitting and composite opportunities, the chance to have a factory tour.

To support the demands of a growing order book, the business has some exciting opportunities – with a particular need for additional Aircraft Fitters, Allied Trade Conversion Fitters, Composite Support Workers and Composite Operators.
Vacancies are also now live for a number of new apprenticeship opportunities, on 4-year programmes, to start in September 2025.
