Postman Pat’s foggy day
Visibility across the solent this morning is for miles – clear as a bright summers day.
How can we be expected to take notice of these climate change zealots, who proclaim an emergency and that we are all doomed in 12 Years, when the place that they get their information from – that being weather organisations, cannot even get the forecast right for about 12 hours ahead.
unfortunately some people are incapable of understanding the difference between chaotic variability and trend.
or to put it another way (for the more simple minded) , the difference between weather & climate
@Orac
and others are blindly following the main stream media and the rest of the sheeple on the climate change bandwagon.
all designed for the simple minded as you say.
I don’t believe you done yourself any favours with that comment! the trend in climate is affecting the world now, but hey just carry on as normal with your obvious opinion on the subject, ignorant actions over the years have caused the problems we now face.
No doubt you would be moaning if thick fog caused delays and you were not given any indication prior.
Basically nobody can win with your opinion. But it obviously made you feel better to post it.
@kev
the climate has been affecting the world since the world first existed. But hey, just carry on as normal with your knee jerk, reactionary response.
The antarctic was once covered in flora and fauna before the last ice age- the thawing is part of the ongoing geological process. In about 30,000 years earths orbit, if current projections are correct will have altered again, so that conditions in the northern hemisphere are correct for another ice age.
Yes we do have an impact on the carbon cycle, by burning large amounts of fossil fuels, as we are transferring carbon from the slow carbon cycle to the fast cycle.
Atmospheric CO2 increases in the winter as plants etc are not absorbing as they are frozen over or just waiting for spring. When the spring arrives we naturally see CO2 levels drop again – earth breathing it would seem.
I trust you are fully aware of both sides of the argument and how a significant portion is naturally occurring and some by the fact that there are too many people on this planet.
@None given
Are you related to D Trump? You clearly believe you are an expert on the subject, are you an expert?
You certainly are an expert in your own opinion, you appear to have little respect for people who have studied the subject nor for people who try to warn you simply that delays could be caused by fog should you need to travel.
The government create problems, the government sort out the problems fooling everyone into thinking we need them
@kev
you appear to have little respect for someone who posts that you have no knowledge about – you seem to think very highly of people whose information about a forecast was wrong and place a great deal of trust in someones interpretation of the climate, that you have not been able to validate or check, yet feel that my opinion, which is accurate I might add, carries no weight, even though you have absolutely no idea as to the level of study I have undertaken in this field and what experience I have. Not that I will be disclosing anything personal here.
Perhaps you should validate your facts before making a half baked post.
you clearly believe what you are told in the main stream media, like the rest of the sheeple.
I bet you get your news from The Guardian
