The Cowes Floating Bridge is to be suspended this Wednesday (20th November) so that engineers can replace several key components.
Between 09:00 and 18:00 a launch service will be in place for both pedestrians and cyclists.
During the suspension period, work will be undertaken to repair 3 guide wheels and a prow ram cylinder.
The Isle of Wight Council has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
