A new level of kitchen quality and style is heading to Newport with the news that German kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus is to open its first-ever Isle of Wight showroom in early December.
The 1,800sqft space at Coppins Bridge Retail Park will feature 13 kitchen displays and appliances from Miele, Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Smeg and many others. This showroom will stand as the single nobilia branch on the Island and has seen the recruitment of 2 showroom staff, creating new jobs in the z|local area.
Kutchenhaus will sit next to The Gym Group, as originally reported by Island Echo back in June.
Sean Carr and Owen Jefferies will deliver the Kutchenhaus Isle of Wight showroom alongside branch manager, Peter Webb. The trio hold nearly 60 years combined kitchen experience and are passionate about delivering expert service to consumers from the very start of their journey.
Sean comments:
“Kutchenhaus kitchens are produced to exceptional standards, thanks to German engineering.
“We take great pride in offering this additional level of choice to the area at competitive prices. Our passion to bring high-quality, German kitchen options to residents on the Isle of Wight is what drives us, as well as providing a professional brand experience.
“Additionally, we want to give back to this community, through job creation for local people and are keen to explore how else we can help contribute in the near future.”

Extremely high quality and excellent design. Unfortunately though, very high prices. Not sure this is a good move in these financially ‘demanding’ times. We’ll see.
It is great that a new shop is now occupying a once empty space; especially something other than a coffee shop. However, I think with the current climate this might not have been the right time to open. Most people are struggling to find pennies to pay for their energy, food and fuel – so I can’t imagine many people will have the money for a new kitchen.
Wow who can afford these on Island wages.. zero hour contracts…
Shops like these are old fashioned. People don’t use places like this anymore. Everything is online. You’ll sell a few but people aren’t going to flock in and go oooooo look its a kitchen cupboard!!!! Unfortunately as glam
As it may be and without sounding cold
Hearted it
Will be closed within a few months then turned in to a Whimpy fast food restaurant hahahah sorry guys and girls x
actually, you are not far wrong… be lucky if it last 6 months..
Just in time for the recession!
Sadly likely to fail as most Island born residents have no idea when it comes to style.
