Kutchenhaus, the luxury German kitchen brand, is set to open its first store on the Isle of Wight.
It has been revealed that the kitchen supplier will be opening a showroom at Coppins Bridge Leisure Park, joining the likes of Pizza Hut, Fever, Cineworld, Burger King and The Gym.
The new Isle of Wight store will become part of a network of over 40 showrooms across the UK, stretching from Aberdeen to Exeter.
It’s unclear when exactly Kutchenhaus will open its doors but it is known that the company will take occupancy of a 1,800 sqft unit between the former Maplins store and the entrance to The Gym.
Kutchenhaus is part of Nobilia kitchens, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer. An application for signage has been submitted by SO Kitchens & Bathrooms Ltd, based in Dorset.

If kitchen shoppers like driving around a full car park looking for a space, they’re on to a winner.
Luxury Kitchen suppliers, great for employment, not so Great For People struggling to fill the Kitchen cupboards with food,What with the Greedy Petrol companies, Greedy Energy Suppliers, and on top of that the Highwaymen and Women in County Hall that Believe Blood out of a Stone is Possible!!
I already have a nice kitchen thanks. No need for this.
Nice if you have house with a kitchen bigger than a matchbox. Too many houses have kitchens far to small to use sensibly. I can be heard in mine saying ‘I hate this b****y kitchen and even stronger words at times.
This shop sadly won’t last long.
Here’s a novel idea, I’m going to buy British. Bring on the hate.
Correct, none of this foreign stuff. I’m going to get my British kitchen from a British carpenter, call them using my British phone before I go and check out what they have in their show room in my British car.
Germany is basically paying the costs of Putin’s war in Ukraine because it refuses to stop buying Russian oil and gas. It’s reasoning being that stopping the oil and gas would harm the German economy. By buying German products you are helping Russia. Help Ukraine by not buying German goods.
I think I’d prefer a local kitchen from a local shop run by a local islander.
