Firefighters are responding to reports of a possible fire at a residential property in Carisbrooke this morning (Thursday).
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has mobilised 2 appliances from Newport and Ryde to the address in Ash Lane.
Crews were mobilised at just after 11:10 after an alarm was heard sounding and the smell of smoke was apparent.
UPDATE @ 12:05 – Crews have now stood down.
