UPDATED: Wightlink have been forced to cancel a number of sailings on their Yarmouth-Lymington route this afternoon (Friday) due to a technical issue with a piece of electronic chart equipment.
The cross-Solent operator has announced that the 12:05 and 14:05 sailings from Yarmouth and the 13:00 sailing from Lymington have been cancelled.
The issue is affecting the vessel ‘Wight Sun’.
Wightlink say that their engineers are working hard to repair the issue as quickly as possible.
UPDATE @ 12:27 – Engineers have completed repair works and therefore the 13:00 sailing from Lymington and the 14:05 sailing from Yarmouth are now back on.
