Firefighters from East Cowes have been mobilised to reports of a small fire in the open this evening (Thursday).
The retained crew was called to East Cowes Esplanade at just after 18:15.
Crews used buckets of water to extinguish the small fire, which was approximately 1 metre by 1 metre in size, and dampen down the area.
The 1 appliance in attendance stood down shortly before 18:40.
