Island Roads’ fleet of gritters will be out and about twice in the next 24 hours as temperatures continue to plummet.
Gritters have already been out and about on Monday and Tuesday this week in what has been a bitterly cold few days for those on the Island.
HGV’s will be seen on the local network at 15:00 this afternoon (Thursday) before taking on another run at 05:00 tomorrow morning (Friday).
Motorists using the roads are advised to extra care at all times.
