Chart-topping music producer and DJ Nathan Dawe has been announced as the 2nd headliner of Sunset Sessions at Blackgang Chine. Just one week after announcing that Judge Jules is heading to the Island to play Sunset Sessions in July next year, Blackgang Chine has today (announced that UK dance music producer and DJ Nathan Dawe will be headlining their second event on 16th August 2024. From BRIT-nominated UK #3 single ‘Lighter’ ft. KSI to 2022’s UK #9 summer anthem ’21 Reasons’ ft. Ella Henderson, Nathan has established himself as a bonafide and definitive dance artist. Further collaborations with everyone from Little Mix to Anne-Marie to Joel Corry & Ella Henderson on 2023 summer smash, ‘O800 HEAVEN’, also continue to showcase his fluid and versatile approach to music-making. If that wasn’t enough, Nathan has also earned a host of different accolades over recent years, being crowned MTV’s Push Artist for 2021, and holding down his debut residency at Ibiza Rocks for an incredible 3 consecutive summers. no one and I mean no one, who is not dependent on alcohol to function would even contemplate drinking an entire bottle of wine at breakfast no matter what the reason – they would have been camped outside the dentist or at A and E trying to get painkillers at least.
Have you heard of functioning alcoholics before? They are long term drinkers who can perform day to day tasks and jobs whilst effectively being drunk often they are extremely well adapted and often go unnoticed.

A man such as this isn’t out to harm anyone – he’s out of his own control. Do read accounts by ex-alcoholics and understand what it took for them to change for the better: a big struggle. If you and I find life can be too hard at times, imagine what it might be like when you also have an addiction sitting on your shoulder.

Here on the good old IOW we make drink drivers the council leaders. Such impeccable moral judgement is just what’s needed for making decisions that affect the lives of us all

One excuse would have been to blame the seller of the bottle of wine with the purchaser quoting, ‘ it was them gov, they sold it to me’. How so? replied the magistrate. Answers, ‘ they ran out of non-alcoholic’. Magistrates then asks, ‘what did you do then?’ ‘I had to take what was offered’. I had no choice’, came the reply. So, you are blaming the retailer for not providing what you wanted?’ ‘Yes gov’.
