Isle of Wight homebuyers looking to move up the property ladder are being urged to consider the government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which isn’t just for first time buyers.
Housebuilder David Wilson Homes currently has the Help to Buy scheme available on selected homes across the Island to ensure each buyer’s move goes as smoothly as possible.
Help to Buy was launched nearly 6-years-ago and allows buyers to purchase a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first 5 years and repayable on the sale on the home.
