UPDATED: Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision on Forest Road in Newport this morning (Friday).
The incident has occurred near to Snows BMW on the main road to the West Wight – which has been closed in both directions.
Police and paramedics are on scene having been alerted to the crash at around 08:55.
2 people are being treated for injuries sustained.
Southern Vectis say their Route 7 buses via Shalfleet will divert via Middle Road and Elm Lane.
UPDATE @ 10:42 – 1 person has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries following the collision between a Mini and a Toyota.
The scene has now been cleared and the road has re-opened.
