A 15-year-old boy from Cowes has been charged with preparing an act of terrorism after being arrested by Counter Terrorism Police earlier this week.
The unnamed teenager was apprehended by specialist officers from Counter Terrorism Policing South East, with the assistance of Hampshire Constabulary, on Monday (11th July).
It has been confirmed that the youngster was arrested on suspicion of the preparation of terrorist acts under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006. It’s unknown where he was arrested.
The 15-year-old has now been charged with this offence and has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London tomorrow morning (Monday).
Counter Terrorism Policing South East has, since 2009, been responsible for coordinating the regional counter-terrorist response and providing specialist support to police forces in Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and the Thames Valley.

But we should not assume it is an ethic child just by virtue of his actions. Plenty of white English have ‘ideas’. A 15 year old kid in front of Westminster generally is pretty shocking.

Under section 5, on conviction on indictment the person shall be liable to life imprisonment, at 15 that could be a bloody long time.

He’s Fifteen years old, he’s probably either lacked parental guidance all his life, been picked on by his peers?! Yes, it’s shocking that one so young could want to harm a fellow human. Sorry but I blame the parents.
Well the solution is to jail him for life, and remove ALL the family members and any close friends, who are likely of the same mind set.
This would cure ‘this’ problem, and would add peer pressure to any friends or family who may be seeing a friend or sibling heading in the wrong direction towards extremist violence.
A win win, and a safer community for the indigenous population, which is WHAT we vote and expect our Government and Police to provide for us.

If he is guilty – lock him up with the proper hard cases, throw away the key, and make sure that it gets regular beatings. Truth is tho, he will get an ickle wickle smacky whacky on the wrist and get let out, only to actually carry out some heinous act further down the line – as we all to regularly see when “persons of interest” keep slipping thru the net due to the relevant authorities incompetence….
Was he planning it on the island, or going to attack somewhere on the island. Lock him up and melt down the key, and give him the lump of metal that will never release him.

A neighbour recently had an altercation with another neighbour who had recently moved to the UK. For years my neighbour has had George’s flag and a Union flag at both ends of their garden. It’s a great sight, acknowledging both England and the United Kingdom. However, their newly moved-in neighbours disapprove.
The local ‘woke’ council has written to my neighbour asking them to take them down to avoid offending.
My neighbour has since erected two giant hands (Kenny Everett) with a pointed middle finger.
We are now waiting to see what the council has to say.

I find this story quite unreal. Unreal in that I don’t want to believe it BUT if terrorism officers involved and he’s before Court in Westminster then crikey I guess it’s true. At 15 though, is he not deemed a ‘minor’ or does that not apply in cases such as this? All rather shocking.
The punishment/sentence should reflect the crime. If he’s attending court in Westminster then my guess is he was planning a serious attack. To take life. Hope this scum bag is locked up for a very long time.
I Googled the Act and see a 15 year old was charged in Yorkshire at the end of June under the same charge plus more. Blimey. I did think perhaps it’s Xbox or PlayStation playing gone abit crazy but perhaps not. 2 x 15 year olds in 2 weeks? Connected? Crazy days.
Old School has probably got a very good point. It seems to me that the Anti-Terrorism Police are not exactly what we would wish them to be in some cases. I will wait for further information before commenting further.

With the number of child terrorists increasing and taking action across the world I honestly feel closer monitoring of mobile phones needs to be undertaken and perhaps less violence on TV and all the other “entertainment” channels. Can’t remember the last time I had a good laugh at a TV series or film. Sorry yes I do it was on some of the continual repeats currently being offered by terrestrial TV but you need to be selective with them as there are some really sick dramas on also. Life is depressing enough without watching us kill or mutilating others.
I would suggest some campaigns for parents informing them about sites like 4chan etc, where most of incels reside. They can really brainwash a teen
