For the 2nd time today both the Red Jet and Hovertravel services have been suspended – with the hovers set to remain off until at least tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
Red Funnel has announced that it has suspended its West Cowes-Southampton hi-speed route due to the adverse weather conditions. It’s unknown when it will resume.
Over in Ryde, Hovertravel has decided to suspend services – also due to the weather – and state that no hovers will be running for the rest of the day.
An update on the Ryde-Southsea route is due at 05:45 tomorrow morning.
All other cross-Solent routes are operating.
UPDATE – Services are now operating to published timetables.
Well that is a sensible move, with the wind yesterday, surprised it is so calm today going on the forecast last night.
