Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) were tasked by HM Coastguard earlier on today (Wednesday) following reports of a boat washing up on Ventnor beach.
Upon inspections made by the CRT, it appeared the small boat has broken free from its moorings from another location and ended on the beach.
There were no persons reported in difficulty.
A spokesperson for Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team said:
“The first informant did the right thing and contacted the COASTGUARD To report this for investigation.”
