A power cut has hit hundreds of properties in Wootton and Binstead this morning as families wake on Christmas Day.
144 postcodes in the PO33 region lost power at around 08:30, throwing plans for Christmas dinner into turmoil.
Electricity has already come back on for some of those affected, but Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say they hope to have supplies restored by 11:30 for those still without power.
The loss of power is affecting properties from Barton Manor estate in the west to Quarry House, Binstead in the east.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.

Likely all the heat lamps and growing lights for the cannabis growers, filling lofts, garages. sheds, and basements, overloading the system. Seems to be happening a lot at this time of year. Cash crop for the New year.
