Southern Vectis worker Vikki Ward is celebrating this week – after being named employee of the year by the Isle of Wight bus operator.
Praised by colleagues and customers alike for her willingness to help and hardworking, honest, nature Vikki is also described by her employer as a ‘great ambassador’ for the company.
She was presented with her award by managing director Andrew Wickham at the operator’s annual awards ceremony.
Andrew said:
“Vikki is a real credit to Southern Vectis – always ready to help out with a smile.
“From making sure our passengers have the right tickets – to encouraging people to use our open-top services – she is an incredible asset and doesn’t seek the slightest of recognition.
“I would like to congratulate Vikki on her thoroughly well-deserved success – and I wish her the very best for the year ahead.”
In recognition of her efforts, Vikki received £500 worth of vouchers and a framed certificate.
