2 outboard motors and a water pump have been stolen from a property in Wootton, leading Police to issue an appeal for information.
Hampshire Constabulary is investigating reports that motorboat parts were stolen during a burglary last Monday (10th October).
Locals are being urged to keep a sharp eye out for 3 items, especially if someone who isn’t a registered dealer tries to sell you a cheap outboard boat engine or other parts in suspicious circumstances.
The items stolen are:
- Outboard boat engine – Mariner 3.3 2-stroke with neutral and forward gear
- Outboard boat engine – Honda 2 4-stroke, 1999 year BF2D
- Petrol-driven water pump, yellow in colour with black hoses and pipes and red cast iron non-return valve.

Do all boat engines not come with a forward gear then???
Not always, some of the smaller ones like this size sometimes have centrifugal (Our Honda 2.2 for example, to reverse; you spin the things around on itself)
