The Big Wight Beach Clean is set to return this weekend, with volunteers encouraged to join the effort at Grange Chine on Saturday (10th January) from 09:00.
Organisers say the weather is currently looking favourable for the clean-up event, which invites locals and visitors alike to help keep the Isle of Wight’s coastline clear of litter.
Participants are asked to meet at Grange Chine, where there is roadside parking available near Grange Farm Campsite. If these spaces are full, additional parking has been made available at Isle of Wight Pearl, which is around a 5-minute walk from the meeting point.
Access to the beach is via the footpath from Military Road.
The event is open to all, including families and dogs. Bin bags and nitrile gloves will be provided for all those taking part.
