Firefighters from Shanklin were called to a decking fire at Holliers Hotel in the Old Village during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
1 appliance was mobilised to the popular hotel and bar at around 04:15 when a small fire broke out on the outside decking area.
The single crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before removing decking and damping down the area.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene around 05:30.
