The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) has been scrambled to the car park at Mole Country Stores in Blackwater in response to an ongoing medical emergency.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was first called to the scene on Blackwater Road at around 14:00, following reports of a medical emergency just outside the entrance to the retail premises.
Flying medics, who had made their way from their Thruxton base, touched down in a field adjacent to the commercial premises at around 14:45.
An Operational Commander is also on scene.
Paramedics are currently on scene tending to the involved. It is unclear as to how the incident occurred.
The car park is currently blocked off whilst the incident is dealt with.
