Emergency services, including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, are responding to a road traffic incident at Chale this morning (Saturday).
Flying doctors have been scrambled to assist local paramedics in treating those injured in the crash, which occurred shortly after 10:00.
Road closures are being put in place with reports that traffic is backed up in the area.
Southern Vectis Route 6 buses are diverting.

1 casualty is being transferred into the air ambulance and is to be flown to a mainland hospital.
Island Echo understands the rider came off their bicycle as a result of a vehicle pulling out of a driveway, but the cyclist did not come into contact with the car.
UPDATE @ 11:26 – The air ambulance has now lifted off from the roadside at Chale and is flying the casualty directly to the Major Trauma Centre at Southampton General Hospital.
UPDATE @ 12:23 – Hampshire Constabulary say that the male cyclist is in a stable condition.
The road remains closed whilst investigations take place and Police await a medical update from doctors.
UPDATE @ 18:30 – The road has now re-opened in both directions.
Hope there ok
