Specialist flying doctors have been scrambled to Alverstone Garden Village this lunchtime (Boxing Day) in response to a medical emergency.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance touched down just before 14:00.
Other emergency services have been heard responding to the area.
UPDATE – The yellow and green helicopter has now lifted off from Alverstone.
