A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and theft following a late-night disturbance at an address on The Strand in Ryde.
Police were called at around 23:51 yesterday to reports of a disturbance at an address on The Strand, Ryde where a woman in her 30s from Ryde suffered minor injuries to her finger.
Following enquiries a 35-year-old man, also from Ryde, was arrested at an address on Warwick Street on suspicion of ABH and theft.
He remains in custody at this time, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed.
