The Isle of Wight is set to experience another heatwave with temperatures in the 30s expected all this week, peaking at 34c on Friday and across the weekend.
Although the Island experienced a very warm and sunny weekend, with today and tomorrow equally as nice, things will be hotting up again as the week goes on – according to local forecasters IW Met Service.
Wednesday will be a hot, sunny day with clear skies throughout leading to temperatures reaching between 29-31c. There will be a light easterly breeze but with onshore coastal breezes developing in the afternoon.
By Thursday, the mercury is set to reach a rather balmy 31-33c on what will be a very hot day with yet more clear skies across the Island. A light easterly breeze can be expected, although onshore coastal breezes will once again develop during the afternoon
One of the hottest days of this week will be Friday, with 32-34c possible here on the Isle of Wight making for a very hot day. Onshore sea breezes will keep it cooler around the coasts, say forecasters.
The good news is that the weekend is looking very hot and sunny throughout with 30-34c expected.
However, there are hints that things will break down next week with the potential for rainfall – welcome news for gardeners and Southern Water, but less so for holidaymakers.

Once it ends, that will be it. Make the most of it, and stop whinging as likely never see another Summer like this for decades, if at all.
Winter of cold, gloom, depression coming very very soon, and you will wish back to have these days again as your home is colder than the fridge. (unless on tax credits of course)
Have you not heard of climate change? Of course we will have another summer like this. In fact, its only probably only going to get more worse.
