The Isle of Wight is gearing up for a full day of Mod, Ska, and Punk as March of the Mods returns for its 10th anniversary on Saturday 29th March 2025.
This popular charity event, which has raised over £1million nationwide since its inception, will once again bring music lovers together while supporting Teenage Cancer Trust and Tonic Music for Mental Health.
Taking place on Ryde Seafront, the event will feature a mass march between Ryde Pavilion and Rocket Ronnies, where a packed programme of live music and DJs will run from 13:30 until 22:30.
The day kicks off with a tribute to The Jam, setting the tone for an incredible line-up of performances. Local favourites Audio Ghosts will take to the stage before the event moves to Ryde Pavilion in the evening, where Inner Circles and headliners Porcelain Mods will close the show in style.
Although the event is free to attend, organisers encourage attendees to donate £10 to support the chosen charities. A raffle with fantastic prizes will also be held on the day, with all proceeds going to charity.
With a mix of top mainland bands, local talent, and a buzzing atmosphere, this year’s March of the Mods Isle of Wight promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Great for businesses, they need more events like this
to make money, especially under this current government.
Looking forward to popping along and having a few
Beers.
I’m glad to hear that you support the rights of a small minority of people who like to dress and act differently to the ‘norm’… and who want to put an event to celebrate their differences…
I wish everyone was as broad minded and tollerant as you.
(strangely I seem to remember you criticising such an event a couple of weeks ago (12/3),.. nice to see you ‘ve had a change of heart…)
long live inclusion and diversity !!
I have nothing against scooterists,
the August Bank Holiday is the greatest
weekend on the island.
Businesses are booming.
who mentioned scooterists…??
IIRC the event you were criticising (or at least expressing satisfaction that is was being scaled back this year) was IW Pride.
Same location,.. same sort of event,.. where people who are different to the norm, want to put an event to celebrate their differences… with a ‘parade’ of sorts & music etc…
So one is OK,.. to be condoned,.. and the other not ??
or does diversity and inclusivity not include everyone??
March of the Mods – “Great for businesses, they need more events like this“
IW Pride (scaled back) – “1 less Road Closure to worry about Lol”
and [someone else]:”load of shite..pathetic crap.” – You “My thoughts exactly”
Ouch! And well played!
Blah, Blah, Blah
Lol
“the event will feature a mass march between Ryde Pavilion and Rocket Ronnies,”
A “mass march” that would be over before it started. I could pee longer than it would take them to walk that distance.
Maybe I should speak to a doctor about that. However, a valid comment.
I wonder how much Ryde town council pump into the event each year? Need a freedom of information request. Perhaps it’s published somewhere, anyone know?
Ah, always one eye on whether things may inadvertently hit your pocket. How sweet. Not a fan of charitable causes then? Isn’t it a good job hundreds of other people regularly give their time and energy for free to support people like teenage cancer victims?
I doubt it’s been published…not most people’s first thought, but I’d guess it comes out of the council’s community events fund, and monies raised through grants from central government.
But if you find other info you can whinge about it then?
