Police are investigating a report of a suspicious incident in the Godshill and Rookley area yesterday morning (Thursday) involving a man with an Irish accent.
Officers from the Island’s Country Watch Team say that a male with an Irish accent, who was travelling in a silver coloured transit van with a yellow stripe down the side, visited a rural property offering to lay gravel down on their car park.
The man is described as stocky with ginger hair and a beard.
