Isle of Wight band Wet Leg have dropped their latest single ‘CPR’ – a love song with a dark twist – as they continue their high-energy return to the music scene.
Fresh from 2 headline shows at London’s Brixton Academy and a crowd-pleasing appearance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, the band are ramping up excitement ahead of their second album moisturizer, due for release on Thursday 11th July.
‘CPR’ opens the album and hints at its bolder, more provocative sound. Set to a gritty, hypnotic beat, the track balances sardonic detachment with explosive energy.
The music video for ‘CPR’ – directed by the band themselves and filmed on Old Blackgang Road in Niton – captures this energy in a chaotic one-take format, filled with headbanging and mischief that showcases their signature eccentricity.
In addition to the new release, Wet Leg has announced a series of UK outstore shows, a full European tour this October, and an extensive 22-date North American ‘moisTOURizer’ beginning in Seattle on Sunday 1st September. Several shows have already sold out.
Fans can stream ‘CPR’ now and pre-order moisturizer via select record stores for access to upcoming outstore events.
