2 cars have been left damaged following a collision on a residential Newport street this afternoon (Sunday).
Emergency services are in attendance at the junction of Clarence Road and Mount Pleasant Road, where 2 cars have collided.
A red Ford Fiesta and a black Ford Galaxy have sustained significant amounts of damage with damage also sustained to a nearby residential garden wall.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are currently assessing those involved for any potential injuries following the crash, which has caused Mount Pleasant Road to be blocked.
UPDATE @ 13:30 – Both vehicles have now been recovered by Stag Lane Motors following the incident and debris has been cleared from the road. It’s understood one person has been treated by Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service for minor injuries sustained in the impact.
Clarence Road and Mount Pleasant Road have now reopened following the incident.
