VIDEO: VICTORIA OF WIGHT VISITS FISHBOURNE TERMINAL FOR THE FIRST TIME

It may be a dull and wet Sunday, but history was made earlier this afternoon as Wightlink’s Victoria of Wight visited Fishbourne for the very first time.

Shortly after 13:00 the brand new, multi-million pound car ferry docked successfully at the terminal for the first time since arriving on the Solent on Friday.

Victoria of Wight will carry over 1,000 passenger and some 176 cars. The hybrid ferry is expected to serve the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route for decades to come.
