UPDATED: Firefighters are responding to a vehicle fire in Freshwater Bay this afternoon (Monday).
A green van has burst into flames in the car park of The Albion Hotel off Gate Lane, sending smoke billowing into the sky.
No one is believed to be inside the vehicle.
UPDATE @ 14:00 – The van, believed to be a Fiat, has been completely destroyed by fire.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus have now extinguished the blaze using 2 hose reels.
