Police and paramedics responded at speed to a residential estate in Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday) over concerns for the welfare of a woman.
At just before 13:25, multiple Police units were called to Amherst Place off Marlborough Road to a report of a concern for the welfare of a local female.
Officers blue lighted from Newport to Ryde, with paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service just a few minutes behind.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that officers attended the scene and located the woman, but no further information has been provided.
They forced entry to a property, smashing glass to access the door lock.

Of course there is its just the front desk is no longer open to the public. The station is still there and still has police working there.
