Coastguard Rescue Officers conducted a shoreline search in Ryde this afternoon (Easter Monday) following the discovery of an upturned tender.
It was reported to HM Coastguard shortly before 16:00 that a green tender had been sighted close to Ryde Pier.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to locate and inspect the vessel, which was pulled ashore at Western Gardens.
A search was conducted between Binstead and Puckpool to ensure no debris had washed ashore.
Content that no persons were in danger, the team was stood down and returned to station to disinfect and restow equipment ready for the next shout.
