Teenagers on the Isle of Wight are being invited to enjoy a safe, alcohol-free night out, as Strings Bar and Venue in Newport hosts an exclusive Under-18s club night.
The event, aimed at those aged 13-17, will take place on Saturday 8th August from 19:00 until 23:00, with local DJs Shufflah and Panini providing the music throughout the evening.
Organisers say the night will give teenagers the chance to enjoy themselves with friends in a fully supervised environment during the summer holidays.
The event will be strictly alcohol-free, with soft drinks and refreshments available to purchase.
Tickets are priced at £12.50 each and are available exclusively from The Price Is Wight.
Immy Wheller, from Wootton Explorers, has said:
“Everyone always moans there’s nothing for teenagers to do, so we thought we’d host a club night! Now there’s something that everyone can enjoy with their mates over the summer!”

The event is being held to raise funds in support of a number of local Scouts who are preparing for an international expedition to the USA next year.
