Healthwatch Isle of Wight’s priority survey has been gathering momentum this year and is close to a 50% increase in responses compared to 2014, but time is running out to have your say.
The survey, which closes on the 31st July, asks for Isle of Wight residents to choose their top priority workplan areas by scoring them from 1 to 5 with 1 being the most important and 5 the least. The results of the survey will determine which areas Healthwatch Isle of Wight will focus on for the next 18 months.
There are 20 service areas to choose from in the survey and these have been identified as areas causing concern by Isle of Wight residents.
Joanna Smith, Healthwatch Isle of Wight Manager said:
“Currently the survey responses indicate that we are likely to be focusing on services for unpaid carers, GP’s and Accident and Emergency. If you feel these are not the main areas of concern or agree that they are I would urge you to complete the short survey to ensure your views are taken into account.
“As residents of the Isle of Wight all our Health and Care Services are extremely important to us all and Healthwatch Isle of Wight is keen to hear your experiences of these services and make sure your voice is heard”.
