Motorists heading in and out of Newport can expect delays this morning (Monday) due to the erection of 2-way temporary traffic lights on Fairlee Road.
A large water main has burst near to Orchard House, leading to repair works being carried out by Southern Water engineers.
Authorities were alerted to the burst main at around midnight.
Although the majority of properties should now have a water supply, albeit slightly discoloured for some, the roadworks continue.
It is unknown how long the temporary traffic management will remain in place for.
