UPDATED: TECHNICAL ISSUE SEES HOVERTRAVEL SERVICE GRIND TO A HALT

Services on Hovertravel have been cancelled this evening (Thursday). The cross-Solent travel operator has been forced to suspend its service due to a technical issue. Purchased tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s FastCat service. The next update is expected at 18:00. UPDATE @ 20:10 – It has been confirmed that the hovers are to remain suspended until at least tomorrow morning, with an update due at 05:45.
