Richard Tyldsley, General Manager of Southern Vectis, says:
“We are very lucky here on the island to have an incredible mix of coastal and scenic rural areas.
“Our Needles Breezer route climbs up the cliff edge to a point high above the Needles Rocks and Lighthouse. And it also takes in the picturesque harbour town of Yarmouth, beautiful Freshwater Bay and weaves its way into the fun filled Needles Park and Alum Bay.
“We’ve all been through a tough couple of years, and we’ve decided to give people the opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy the many views and gems on offer here. Those wishing to take advantage of the Needles Breezer Islander Day can actually take their pick of either Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 October. On either day, anybody wishing to travel on the Needles Breezer can do so all day long at a special discounted rate of £5 for adults, £4 for young adults, and £3 for children.
“We’re urging people not to miss this opportunity to ride on one of the nation’s most picturesque bus routes, before its season ends at the end of this month. Tickets are available on the bus, for the Needles Breezer service only, and is a hop on hop off ticket.”
