Firefighters from Newport and Cowes have attended a small fire at a property in Carisbrooke tonight (Monday).
3 appliances were mobilised to Recreation Ground Road at 21:20 following an emergency call to fire control.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also called to the detached family home.
It has been confirmed to Island Echo that a small fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom, with 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet used to extinguish the flames.
Crews left the scene by 22:00.
