Ryde Town Council has appointed Tim Wander to act as Project Manager for the St Thomas’s Church renovations and transformation into the new home of the award-winning youth service – Network Ryde.
Tim comes with a fantastic background with over 25 years of Project Management experience working on refurbishment, renovation, construction and installation projects all over the world.
For the last 6 years, Tim has led the restoration of the iconic Grade II* listed Northwood House in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, winning two Island RIBA (Royal Institutes of British Architects) conservation awards for projects that involved major structural work.
He will now work together with Brightspace Architects and the range of stakeholders to ensure that the works are designed, scheduled and carried out to the highest possible standards, taking into account all of the unique characteristics and features that make the building such an iconic one within the town of Ryde.
Lisa Dyer, Ryde Town Council Town Clerk said:
“This is a very exciting appointment as Tim can drive the project forwards in ways that are impossible without his knowledge and experience. I am very confident that St Thomas’s Church is now in the very best possible hands and I’m very happy to have Tim on board.”
Bex Swan, Network Ryde Manager said:
“St Thomas’s Church is going to be an incredible new home for Network Ryde and allow us to continue to grow the services that we offer. Having Tim involved makes the dream feel one step closer to reality.”

Shouldn’t be removing grave head stones though, thats disgusting. Perhaps they thought we wouldn’t notice.
Good idea. Providing RTC do not continue to raise council tax, buying more buildings
Another manager, exactly what we need, yet another manager on a ridiculous salary. The gravy train is running nicely at county hall. Meanwhile, stick another rise on our council tax.
Another well paid manager, paid for by the public. Great news!
